What's Brewing?

I've been doing a terrible job at updating this blog.

As some of you may know, my brother Victor and I have been brewing beer for the wedding. It has been fun learning the process and hanging out with my brother, which we don't get to do too often. Brewing is easier than I thought. The crappiest part is cleaning everything... and WAITING!

We just bottled 150 bottles of lavender wheat beer. It is just about ready for show time, so hopefully it will taste good. The next 15 gallons will be a lemongrass IPA Obviously, there is some kind of Asian theme going on here. If these don't turn out, I will have a lot of sub-par beer on my hands... and I will have no problem drinking it.

Engagement Photos

Last Sunday, our awesome friend Carey Rose took our engagement photos out of the goodness of his heart. It really meant a lot to us that he took these. It wasn't too awkward for him (I hope) and it was definitely a blast for us. We are awkward about these kinds of things. We don't like public displays of affection, so it's nice that Carey knew how to direct us and help us feign beauty.

We wanted some pictures that captured our outdoorsy side as well as our urban side. We only had 2 hours to shoot this before sunset, so we decided last minute to go to the Arboretum and South Lake Union Park... And we think it was a success.

And of course, we brought Mochi. We had to bribe her with food.

What a pro. Check out Carey's work at Carey Rose Multimedia.
